When I open the software and click on 'Preview" as I have always done, the scanner does its thing and makes all the right noises, then... nothing. The preview window does not pop up, at all.

I have a low usage V500 I bought new that I wil llet go, original box, packing, film holders. The V700 on the other hand has a larger transparency scan area and can be picked up used.
