Until today it had a weird blurry colored line in the projection that I suspected to be a hair because it quivered. The device is out of warranty so I decided to try to clean it out myself using this guide:

I sampled back-to-back both ML Source ($1,099, electrostatic) vs. the Preface ($499, ATF). IMO, the Preface sounded clearer... dunno, maybe the Source wasn't broken in yet. But my ears preferred the Preface.

网页2021年12月20日 · To be on the safe side, I would suggest using a hand held hair drier to start with. And again, keep the heat source moving. If it's possible, simply moving the screen to an area where direct sunlight can fall on the material for a few hours or even a day or two. People tend to get impatient if the wrinkle does not relax quickly.

However, I purchased the 55TXi online and was able to find it for about the same price the B&M was selling the 53TX for their "on sale" price. The 55TXi is built better in that it has a "dual layer" case. It's a 'hair' smaller than the 53.
