After updating the touchpad firmware on my XPS 15 9510, it's working flawlessly on Linux as well up to now. For Linux users you'll need a dual boot to upgrade AFAIK.

网页2023年11月28日 · The 9510 comes with ddr4 sodimm 3200mhz. If you upgrade, make sure that it's ddr4 ram not ddr5. Crucial is the tried and true option that seems to work the best for most people. Would never discourage upgrading ram, but it’s really routine for systems to run all of 16 gb for normal tasks.

网页2021年12月2日 · As it started getting warmer I screenshotted the temp 2 minutes later to 44C for CPU and 57C for the GPU. After putting the power settings to Cool with the fans screaming, the temperatures were 44C CPU (no change) and 52.2C for the GPU. As I'm typing this the "idle" CPU is now 49C + GPU 55C (normal optimized power setting).

To put into context, you have to replace the entire motherboard when the wireless card quits. Only the SSD and Ram user-friendly upgrades. AX1650 is a fine intel-based card. In fact it is an AX201 CNVi2 chip.
