网页2011年9月9日 · Steve Cropper knew the score...it really helps mellow out the tone. Some people's hands sweat alot and the acidity causes strings to rust, so they have to change strings frequently. I have very dry hands and leave 'em on about a year or longer. Others just prefer the snappy, lively feel and sound of fresh strings.
