The LR has the best antenna for range/penetration. I have a U6-LR for my garden and it works well. (It is even IP54 rated and so I have it on an outside wall.)

I am running UniFi Network Appliance v7.1.67 in an Ubuntu LXC container on Proxmox. I have messed around with Channel Width and Transmit Power which didn't help.

The AP-PRO shows 22dBm Tx power for both 2.4 and 5ghz, and 3dBi gain for 2.4 and 5ghz. So isn’t the U6-PRO actually longer range in the 5ghz band? Clearly the LR is superior to the original AC-PRO when it came out.

U6-LR max Tx power is 26 dBm on both 2.4ghz and 5ghz, with antenna gains of 4 dBi (2.4Ghz) and 5.5 dBi (5ghz). It's actually the second loudest AP in the Unifi Lineup (XG excluded from the list).
